Staff Types
Mods
Mods are staff that are at the halfop level in #help, #mibbit or #chat. Along with moderating those channels, they also may provide assistance to users. Mods cannot perform the same functions as IRCops. If you need assistance that requires enhanced server access, seek out an IRCop. You can easily identify an IRCop that is online by issuing the /whois nick command. IRCops will have a hostmask of xxx.staff.mibbit.net vhost). For a list of staff check the list of IRCops below.
#mods
This channel is used for dealing with server issues, testing new features of the Mibbit client and offering suggestions for improvements to the Mibbit client. All Staff are expected to be in this channel while on duty.
IRCops
IRCops, in addition to performing basic administration, security and rules enforcement on the IRC server, also are able to add Web:IRC entries. If you experience issues in your channel relating to spamming, abuse, botnets, etc, you should contact one of the following IRCops:
Owners
Axod and Fastundia are the driving forces behind the Mibbit project. Axod is the primary developer while Fastundia is involved in marketing and design.
