This main client internal command switches on/off the desktop notifications for specific tabs. It must be enabled Prefs > General > Alerts.

/notify on

is the initial default for all channels and PM tabs.

/notify off

turns off notifications for this specific channel or PM tab.

/notify {on|off} all

will work on all tabs soon.
