The extra content window is where links that are images, PDFs, PPTs, and Microsoft word documents. It also shows YouTube videos.
Specifically, the following filetypes open up in the Extra content area:
- http://<Rest of URL>.png
- http://<Rest of URL>.gif
- http://<Rest of URL>.bmp
- http://<Rest of URL>.jpg (and variants)
- http://<Rest of URL>.ppt
- http://<Rest of URL>.doc
- http://<Rest of URL>.pdf
- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=<text>
